Our Shelter to Home initiative is dedicated to offering a home to beggars who spent their days on roadside, old age people who have no home, people who are left abdomen by family members, we provide them with not just a roof over their heads but also a pathway to a brighter future.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe and secure housing to individuals like beggars, old age people, kids who are left by family members, who don’t have a place to call home. We recognize that homelessness is a complex issue with many challenges, and our approach is centered around those issues and help such people to overcome these challenges with Daan Patra.
We know it’s really important to have a safe and comfy place to sleep, especially for people who’ve been living on the streets or in dangerous situations. That’s why at Daan Patra shelter/home, we provide a safe space where people can take a break from the tough realities of street life. We help them to build a new life along with some employment.
Moving towards Stability
We don’t just give people a place to stay and leave it at that. We want to help people get back on their feet and be independent again. That’s why we offer different kinds of help to homeless people to help them find a stable place to live at Daan Patra home for homeless people. We give them access to healthcare and mental health services, and we also offer job training. These things give people the tools and support they need to take charge of their lives again.
